Who
owns Beaver Meadows?
Beaver Meadows is owned by HAP Senior Care, a Beaver, PA based nonprofit
organization with a 40-year track history of serving the residents of Beaver County.
How is Beaver Meadows different from other assisted living
facilities?
Beaver Meadows is
the newest assisted living community in the area. As a nonprofit
organization, we offer an unequaled combination of quality,
depth of services and affordability. In addition, you'll receive superior care at Beaver Meadows because we use LPNs to staff our community, not just aides. That's what sets us apart from other communities.
What
social and recreational activities are offered for residents?
Beaver Meadows provides numerous conveniences and services
designed to make everyday living more stimulating and rewarding.
With amenities including a chapel, on-site transportation,
beauty shop, barber shop, physical and occupational therapy
areas and activity rooms, residents can enjoy on-site daily
activities while making new friends, or take exciting day
trips.
What
safety features are found at Beaver Meadows?
Beaver Meadows was designed with safety in mind. The facility
was constructed from non-combustible building materials,
such as metal framing and trusses and is protected by state-of-the
art emergency response and sprinkler systems. A full-time
registered nurse is on staff, and medical care is available
seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
Do I have to furnish my own room?
Although you are more than welcome to bring your own furnishings,
we have selected furniture, carpeting and wall coverings
in a traditional, early-American decor. How you decide to
decorate your new home is completely up to you.
Is
financial assistance available for residents?
Beaver Meadows is a private pay facility. However,
if you are a Veteran or spouse of a deceased Veteran, financial
assistance may be available through the VA. For
